Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT scans and assisting with various imaging procedures on a 13 week contract

Requirements:

ARRT (CT) Certification
BLS (AHA)
New Hampshire License of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
2 years CURRENT acute care hospital experience
High proficiency in C-Arm, Fluoroscopy, PACS and IV Placement

Equipment in department:

GE Proteus
Siemens Luminos Agile
Fuji DR GO Portable
All Fuji DR plates
C-arms: GE 9900 plus and Brivo
Toshiba Prime 80 CT scanner
Meditech RIS
Fuji Synapse PACS

- Conduct CT scans using specialized equipment to produce cross-sectional images of internal organs and tissues on Pediatric to Geriatric patients

- Prepare patients for CT procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.

- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with safety protocols and quality assurance standards.

- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret scan results and provide accurate diagnostic information.

- Maintain patient records, documenting procedures, findings, and patient information accurately.

Performs CT diagnostic or therapeutic procedures, in accordance and within the scope of practice and departmental standards.
Assesses pertinent information; prepares and educates patient for procedures and expectations.
Completes documentation of patient care and procedure.
Utilizes the hospital and departmental information, technology systems and equipment operations.
Maintains a level of productivity, adaptability, flexibility and timeliness in managing workload and processes required to meet patient care and department needs.
