Job Description
We are looking for a Cath lab nurse for our institution. He/she must be able to work in a co-operative environment with the rest of the health care team members. The individual must be able to work responsibly and provide optimal care to our patients.

- Have sufficient knowledge of the field.
- Understand the medical equipment and operate it.
Responsibilities
- Must have basic knowledge of the job of a Cath lab nurse as in preparing patients for catheterization, angioplasty and pacemaker implantations.
- Must assist physician in the catheterization, angioplasty and pacemaker implantations processes.
- Must keep patient calm and relaxed during procedure where they’re required to be awake.
- As a senior Cath lab nurse, must administer appropriate medicine when needed.
- Must be able perform proper after procedure care.
- Must check vital signs of the patient with proper care.
- Provide education about medications and care to the patients and families before the discharge.
Experience:
- Recent Cath lab experience is required (ideally 3-5 years minimum)
- Must be proficient with diagnostic Cath's, interventions, Rot ablator, IVUS, FFR and hemodynamics.
- Must be proficient with diagnostic caths, interventions, Rot ablator, IVUS, FFR and hemodynamics.
- IABP and Impella experience required & ECMO experience preferred.
- Experience in all Cath Lab and/or EP roles highly preferred (sedation, monitor, circulator, and scrub roles).
- EP Lab experience preferred, but not required
- Previous foundational ICU or ED experience preferred
- RCIS preferred
- **Will consider Stress Lab (Non-Invasive Cardiology) RNs as well.
Certificate & Licensure:
- RN License
- BLS
- ACLS
- Covid & Flu Vaccination
